Background checks play a growing role across Florida as individuals and businesses seek reliable information before making important decisions. According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), millions of criminal history record checks are processed statewide each year for employment, licensing, and personal review purposes. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity also reports that Florida remains one of the fastest-growing states in the U.S., increasing the need for careful screening in housing, hiring, and private matters. In expanding communities like Kendall, conducting a proper background check has become more common when verifying identities or reviewing available records before entering into agreements.
Here at Grey Ghost – Private Investigator Miami, background checks go beyond automated database searches. A professional background investigation service focuses on accuracy, lawful access to records, and careful documentation. Whether conducting criminal background checks where permitted or reviewing public records for clarity, the goal is to provide reliable, organized information without guesswork. Instead of relying solely on surface-level data, findings are reviewed methodically to reduce errors and misidentification. With flat-rate pricing and no mileage or travel fees, we provide clear expectations from the beginning. When requesting a criminal record check or seeking to check background for personal or business reasons, professional oversight helps ensure information is properly sourced and responsibly reported.

Best Fort Lauderdale investigators! They really helped me out when I was in a tough spot. Ana, the owner, was super helpful, kind and an expert in private investigations. I hope I don't need them again, lol, but if anything comes up, I'll use them again.
When my “trust issues” started causing problems in my relationship, I called these Fort Lauderdale private investigators —and wow, they delivered! They were fast to respond, kind and affordable. As far as outcome - let's just say that I am now single and happy 🙌. Thanks Grey Ghost! You're the best.

This private investigation agency does all of our tenant screening reports. I love that I can order the reports through their site. I usually get the background checks back within an hour. All the information is accurate and up to date. Thanks Grey Ghost, you're the best!
Long story short: my dog was dog-napped by a very dramatic family member (you can’t make this stuff up). I was heartbroken and had no idea where he was taken. Enter the heroes at Grey Ghost in Fort Lauderdale. They did surveillance (yes, like a real-life spy movie) and actually found my dog! I’m talking secret photos, tailing cars, and everything short of a Mission: Impossible soundtrack. If you ever need a private investigator in Fort Lauderdale, especially for something as wild and emotional as a missing pup, these are your people. I got my dog back — and some serious closure.
I own several businesses in Fort Lauderdale and these investigators have helped me out numerous times. I can always count on them to give me timely and accurate results. No one else comes close to their level of professionalism and expertise.
RESULTS, RESULTS, RESULTS! This firm is as professional as it gets! Follow their instructions to the letter & you’ll get timely feedback on your case. I promise!

Not my first rodeo with this outfit, but certainly appreciated the results. It's amazing what a little bit of professionalism and a whole lot of honesty can get one through a rough patch in life. These Fort Lauderdale Private Investigator really helped me out.
i've been around the block when it comes to PIs and situations in which a PI would be necessary, so I know a few things regarding who is offering a good service and who isn't. i've worked with them twice already and each time they do not disappoint. thorough, experienced and professional, they answer all your questions with compassion and patience as well as do a detailed job when hired. i fully recommend them to anyone in need of an investigator.

I have worked with two other investigators, and this team was by far the best investigators i have ever worked with!! I even had them watch over another investigator who was doing a poor job. They were very professional, timely, accurate, thorough with assessments and up-close video recordings, my videos and reports were uploaded almost immediately, and the follow up was immediate and it showed how much they cared about my case. They are so familiar with the South East Florida region. I highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again!!
